Tse Shun

Original comic creator and story writer of Businessman webcomic, Tse Shun (Korchup) grew up in different cultures, ultimately finding comfort in American cartoons and Japanese manga. As such, his work is greatly influenced and inspired by both cultures and its elements. When it comes to crafting narratives through the medium of visual art and storytelling, he fills the canvas with humorous sentiment, hoping to help people find a good laugh in every corner of life.

  • Born in Hong Kong, 1993, Tse Shun studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Hong Kong from 2011-14, then transferred to the United States for his final year where he continued his major in illustration. Throughout his undergraduate study, he was awarded scholarships for academic merits and artistic potential. In 2016, he obtained his B.F.A. in Illustration with Honors. After graduation, he moved to New York to work in illustration and returned to Hong Kong in 2017 to continue his work.

    Created a 3D printed sculpture featuring Stella Blu’s logo and accompanied by a comic strip dedicated to this collection

    Selected by the Hong Kong 3D Printing Association to represent Wennolab showcasing a solo 3D Printing exhibition at ToySoul, Hong Kong

    Received a full-page personal interview on the Culture and Arts page of the Hong Kong newspaper “Wen Wei Po”

    Awarded Second Place for “Best Up-and-Coming” original comic in the Story Division at ANI-COM, Hong Kong

    Acted as Environment Artist in an animated film “Leave With Me”, which won a student animated award

    Received Honorable Mention for “Most Laughs” in a global contest on LINE Webtoon

    Acted as Visual Development Artist in the re-design of the Hong Kong Ocean Park mascot and park image team project at SCAD

    Artworks selected for group exhibition at Galerie Perrotin, Hong Kong

    Selected by SCAD to participate in the 2nd Hong Kong Museum of Art Tea Party hosted at the Victoria House for a live-drawing event

    Designed souvenirs for the 12th Taoist Cultural Festival in Hong Kong
